Looking for a way to make fitness FUN? Many of our members love to exercise in groups because it's energizing and motivating, and our certified instructors offer a great variety of workouts. No matter what level you are from beginner to advanced, we work with you to ensure a safe, fun workout that will keep you coming back for more.
With multiple group exercise studios, the JCC is able to offer 50+ weekly classes for all fitness levels from high energy Spinning™ or Zumba to the more relaxing mind/body options of Hatha or Iyengar Yoga or Belly Dancing, to our Fit Forever Club classes for seniors. All of these regularly scheduled fitness classes are included in your membership at no additional charge. We also offer a full complement of water exercise classes which are available to members for a small additional fee.

Classes included with Membership ($12 for Non-members)
Step+Strength: 55 minutes All Levels: Come to an hour of fun and surprises. This step class includes strength conditioning and a great abs workout.
Advanced Step: 55 minutes Intermediate/Advanced: Maximum cardovascular workout using complex, advanced choreography and power moves. This class requires some experience.
Total Body Sculpt: - 55 minutes All Levels: Add a balance to your fitness routine by adding strength training, which increases muscle tissue and allows more fat burning. This class will help those of all fitness levels increase the effects of their workouts.
3C's: Cardio, Conditioning and Core: - 60 minutes All Levels: This challenging class will give you an efficient, total-body workout by keeping your heart rate up while strengthening various muscle groups, particularly the all-important core!
Zumba (Cardio Latin Dance): 60 minutes All Levels: Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a one of a kind fitness program that is so much fun, you won’t even know you are exercising! The routines feature fast and slow rhythms and resistance training combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.
Bellydancing: 60 minutes All Levels: Learn a graceful, fun and exciting new art form and work several muscle groups at the same time. Come join us for an hour of enchantment. Dance with veils to exotic world music. Experience a fun cardio workout that makes you feel beautiful inside and out. Sculpt your arms, work your waist, come and dance!
Kbox Boot Camp: 55 minutes All Levels: A different way to challenge your body and mind with a workout that is a cross between cardio kickboxing and a boot camp workout – it’s all here.
Trekking: 40 minutes All Levels: Guided treadmill training to increase cardiovascular fitness and tone the legs and buns. Burn lots of calories in this activity while preparing yourself for outdoor pursuits like hiking, cross country skiing, or actual mountain hiking.
Cardio Kickboxing: 60 minutes All Levels:A cardio class that will take you to the edge and introduce you to your anaerobic threshold!!
Chisel: 55 minutes All Levels: Take muscle conditioning to a higher level. This workout is drill based in intervals that will take you into your aerobic zone and back! Guaranteed to challenge! Using the bench, floor, body bars, tubes and hand held weights as props and aids. Great to boost fitness and agility in both athletes and non-athletes.
Fit Forever Club: ($5 non-members): 40 minutes All Levels. This ‘Club’ offers a pleasant environment and different routines incorporating light movement and strength training like simple yoga and dancercise. Designed to increase your strength, flexibility and range of motion, all of our classes emphasize movement, stretching, balance, range of motion and posture alignment.
Spin® : 45 minutes All Levels: A rigorous indoor cycling class that that is designed to emulate both on-road and off-road cycling. Your instructor will outline the ride. We are a Mad Dogg certified facility. Sign in & get ticket at Fitness Desk. Please bring a towel and water. First time riders arrive 10 minutes early for bike set-up. Iyengar Yoga: 60 minutes All Levels: This style of yoga can be practiced by all. The emphasis is given to precision and alignment in all postures. The use of props such as wooden blocks and belts helps the any practitioner to achieve perfection in all the postures. Body awareness and breathing techniques are also taught.
Hatha Yoga: 60 minutes All Levels: Can be practiced by all. Emphasis on linking breath with movement.
Pilates: 55 minutes All Levels: Core strength training and body awareness are benefits to a workout that is designed to strengthen and tone your body along with improving posture and breathing. Power Pilates - Add a different dimension to the workout using balls, rings, bands and weights.
