Nurturing. That's what we provide for your children when you can't be there. We have created a warm, safe and creative environment (that the community has counted on for over 20 years) to inspire even the littlest children to flourish. Our care providers are carefully screened, chosen for their love of babies and toddlers, and trained in CPR and first aid (though we do have a nurse on staff!)
The Jewish Community Center Early Childhood Program reflects a comprehensive developmentally sequential program for children ages three months to six years. Our curriculum is based on our awareness that children are active learners and that play is an important vehicle for children's social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual development.
The daily schedule is a consistent routine, which allows for flexibility and attention to individual interests and preferences. The Infant Toddler Program (ITC), provides quality care and education for young infants (ages 3 to 9 months), mobile infants (ages 8-19) months, and toddlers (ages 16-36 months). The ratio for staff to infants is 1 to 3 and for staff to toddlers is 1 to 4 to ensure that you child is getting the attention and stimulation he or she needs. A dairy lunch is included for our all day kids.
In addition to the regular program, children over the age of two may participate in weekly swim lessons.
